Instead of a backing coated with abrasives, surface conditioning belts are built with a nylon fiber mesh that has abrasive grains bonded to it. The fiber mesh creates a more pliable surface, which can be better for creating a smoother surface, especially for uneven surfaces.

• Brown (Coarse Belts): Equivalent to grits between P120-P150
• Maroon (Medium Belts): Equivalent to grits between P150-P180
• Blue (Fine Belts): Equivalent to grits between P240-P280
• Grey (Super Fine Belts): Equivalent to grits between P1000-P2000
