    What Applications Do These Belts Work Well For?

    Our industrial quality sanding belts are perfect for non ferrous metals (aluminum, copper, titanium, nickel) and ferrous metals (steel, stainless steel, pig iron, alloys, hardened steel, etc.). The sandpaper belts are also great for dense and hard woods. Use the sandpaper belts for stock removal, grinding of welds, shaping, cutting, sharpening, honing and blending metals.

    Why Would You Use A Flex Backing?

    As the name suggests, flex backings are light and flexible. They are used when slack grinding (no platen or contact wheel) to give curved surfaces a uniform finish. Slack grinding is especially useful for convex curves (curves that extend outward like a football).
